MAMI WATA SANCTUARY

Biodiversity Trust in Perpetuity

Ecoasis goes beyond being just an accommodation and embraces the principles of Biodiversity and Ecological living, preserving native wildlife and habitat making it a true eco-retreat.

We have joined our local community in opening up a wildlife corridor, by securing 60% of our land to be held in perpetuity trust with BCT. The aim of BCT is to protect native flora and fauna, especially Koalas and their habitat.

energy efficiency

Ecoasis prioritizes energy efficiency with state-of-the-art systems, from heating and cooling to lighting. Our villas boast eco-friendly features like low emissivity windows, triple insulation, and smart architectural designs for optimal airflow and natural light.

eco-friendly chalets

All of our Chalets are located in stunning rainforests with stunning views. Being surrounded and submerged in a pristine natural rainforest is the main reason why our guests stay at Ecoasis. Nature is the queen out here and we are ensuring the natural beauty is more than preserved and protected, we are committed to collaborate with our local community to regenerate the native forests of the tweed valley diversity restoring the natural heritage.

our water conservation

We prioritize water conservation and have implemented various strategies to minimize usage.

Our facilities feature water-efficient fixtures, and we exclusively use rainwater harvested from our property for all water needs. Experience the luxury of rainwater bathing with us while supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship.

waste wise

Ecoasis leads in eco-friendly practices: composting onsite, donating toiletries, and safe disposal of electronics. We use refillable containers, serve breakfast in reusable materials, and have eliminated single-use utensils. Our septic tank system ensures efficient waste disposal.

eco rebirth

Through responsible firewood sourcing, we ensure sustainable heating while actively regenerating our property's forest. Once used for cattle farming a century ago, our land has undergone a remarkable transformation. Initiated two decades ago, our reforestation efforts with native species have successfully re-established the rainforest.

We recognize the importance of ecosystem workings and are committed to land regeneration and wildlife preservation, aligning with principles of bush regeneration. Our efforts extend to supplying firewood for outdoor pits sourced from fallen logs on-site and promoting paper-saving initiatives through contactless transactions, online check-ins, and digital forms.
