All chalets are self-contained with kitchens, Ensuite Bedrooms with bath/spa, balconies, bbq and eco amenities. The chalets with Spa jets are (MorningMist, Range View, Hideaway) The other chalets have spas/ baths without jets.

The Jet engines are very sensitive to bath bombs + flower petals which can cause failure, sometime permanent damage. When using the spa, it must be filled at least 5 centimeters above jets before use. Please do not use bath bombs, oils, or botanicals — they damage the engine and eco-septic system. Fines apply. Epsom salts & magnesium are suitable for use.

Electric Vehicle Charging
Ecoasis is currently unable to provide a government-approved, safety-regulated onsite electric vehicle (EV) charging facility. We kindly ask guests to make use of approved public charging stations and appreciate your understanding
as we prioritise the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all our guests.

Water
All water is pure rainwater treated with hydrogen peroxide (safe for bathing). Spring drinking water from Venes spring is supplied in dispensers. Please use water mindfully — leaving taps running may result in tank depletion and may result in excess water surcharges.

Energy Use & Air Conditioning
At Ecoasis, our commitment to the earth includes valuing how we use precious natural resources. Please switch off air conditioning, heaters, and lights whenever
you leave your chalet, and ensure windows and doors are closed while using them to conserve energy. Use the extractor fan or DRY mode to help prevent condensation, and take care on wet wooden stairs.
To honour our sustainability standards, failure to switch off air conditioning or
lights when the chalet is unoccupied may result in an additional power surcharge.

Electrical Safety in a Rainforest Environment
All appliances at Ecoasis are routinely tested and maintained. Please be
mindful that we are located in a high-rainfall rainforest with consistently
high humidity, mist, and frequent light precipitation. In damp conditions,
some electrical appliances may emit a very slight electrical impulse. This is
normal and not a fault when used correctly.
For your safety, always use electrical appliances with dry hands and stand on
a dry mat, especially in bathrooms. For example, using a hair dryer with wet
feet or on a wet fl oor may cause a mild current — a dry mat under your feet
is essential. If any appliance causes concern, please stop using it immediately
and notify us straight away. We can provide replacement or remedy. Beyond
our regular inspections, the only way we can know is when you tell us —
thank you for helping us care for your safety and the space.

Appliances Provided
Each chalet is equipped with the following small appliances:

Toaster, kettle, coffee grinder, microwave, blue tooth speaker, vacuum cleaner
and hair dryer. Primary appliances include a refrigerator, gas cooktop, electric oven, outdoor BBQ and in some cases a dishwasher. Please note: the Hideaway chalet has a gas oven and starts with a pilot light or long lighter provided.

Using the electric Oven
To operate the oven, all three knobs must be engaged:

1. Select the mode,
2. Set the temperature,
3. Turn the timer on
The oven will not heat unless all three are activated.

Baths & Spa Use
Every chalet features a bath for relaxation and restoration. Forest Chalet is fitted with a beautiful claw-foot bath. Some chalets include spa baths with jets. Due to repeated misuse in the past, some spa jets have been permanently disconnected.
We kindly ask for your cooperation and care: please do not place flower petals, herbs, oils, or any botanicals into spa baths with jets. These materials are
drawn into the system and can burn out the motor beyond repair.

Sustainability & Eco-Living
All laundry at Ecoasis is lovingly washed on-site using pure rainwater, natural washing salts, and plant-based sanitisers, then sun-dried when possible or heatpump dried with a 10/10 energy efficiency rating.
Our toilets, sink & bath may show harmless natural tannin hues from gum
trees — a gentle reminder of the forest’s presence. Please avoid using bleach
or harsh chemicals, as they disrupt our delicate eco-septic and water systems.
You’ll find Tri Nature and Green line cleaning products under your kitchen
sink — they’re 100% effective, safe for your body and the earth.
If you love them as much as we do, contact Reception to purchase your own.
